Amanda Shepherd
Amanda Shepherd is a CPA and former CFO with more than 20 years of finance leadership experience, including a background in mergers and acquisitions, company integrations, and process development. She spent her career building and refining the systems that help businesses run efficiently, expertise she now brings to owning and growing Voda Cleaning & Restoration of Southwest Florida, which she opened in May 2024.
Amanda holds Water Restoration Technician (WRT) and Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT) certifications, along with OSHA 30 certification, bringing both business acumen and hands-on industry knowledge to her leadership.
Amanda is passionate about delivering exceptional, honest service to every customer while building a positive and supportive environment for her team. For her, small business ownership isn’t just about the numbers. It’s about doing right by the people her company serves and the people who make it possible.
Amanda is a wife and mom to two boys, ages 8 and 10, and shares her home with two cats, a dog, and a fish. She loves spending time with her family above all else, with some of her favorite moments happening outdoors, especially at the beach and by the pool.
Kristin Alvarez
Kristin Alvarez believes great business starts with genuine relationships. With more than 17 years of experience in customer service and property management, she understands the importance of trust, communication, and being there when people need you most.
As Business Development Manager for Voda Cleaning & Restoration of Southwest Florida, Kristin works closely with property managers, real estate professionals, contractors, and local businesses to build lasting partnerships before emergencies happen. Bilingual in English and Spanish, she is passionate about connecting people with solutions that help protect their homes, businesses, and communities.
Kristin enjoys hiking, exploring the outdoors, and finding new opportunities to grow both personally and professionally.
Tyler Alexander
Tyler Alexander brings nine years of restoration industry experience to his role as Operations Project Manager for Voda Cleaning & Restoration of Southwest Florida. He oversees day-to-day operations and helps coordinate restoration projects to keep work organized, efficient, and focused on delivering quality results for customers.
Tyler is a certified Florida mold remediator and holds several IICRC restoration certifications. His combination of field experience, technical knowledge, and operational leadership gives him a well-rounded understanding of what it takes to successfully manage restoration projects from the initial response through completion.
Tyler enjoys various sports.
Dylan Worth
Dylan brings five years of mold remediation experience to his role as a Restoration Technician with Voda Cleaning & Restoration of Southwest Florida. Before entering the restoration industry, he worked as a licensed health and life insurance broker, giving him a diverse professional background centered around helping people navigate important situations.
His interest in mold remediation has grown into a broader passion for environmental science and indoor environmental quality. Dylan is currently working toward a degree in environmental microbiology as well as his CIE credential, with the long-term goal of becoming an industrial hygienist. He also enjoys sharing his knowledge and helping others better understand mold-related projects and concerns.
Dylan enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, writing code, and continuing to learn about mold, microbiology, and the science behind healthier indoor environments.
Andy Sherer
Andy approaches restoration work with a simple philosophy: do the job the right way, every time. As a Restoration Technician with Voda Cleaning & Restoration of Southwest Florida, he enjoys helping customers through difficult situations and taking pride in making homes safer again.
Originally from Detroit, Andy has called Florida home for about 25 years. His customer-focused approach and attention to doing things correctly make him a valued part of the restoration team.
Andy is a father to two daughters and enjoys gardening, spending time with his family, and being around animals of all kinds.
Gaige Carvalho
Gaige is a newer member of the Voda Cleaning & Restoration of Southwest Florida team and is currently developing his skills through hands-on training as a Restoration Technician. Before joining Voda, he worked as an assembly technician with JW Craft and also gained approximately two years of experience in retail.
His previous roles helped him develop practical problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and experience working with customers, all of which he continues to build on as he grows within the restoration industry.
Gaige enjoys collecting rare bourbons and spending time at the shooting range.
Benjamin Greenwood
Benjamin Greenwood brings a combination of remediation and construction experience to the Voda Cleaning & Restoration of Southwest Florida team. He has several years of experience performing remediation work, along with an even longer background in construction.
While Benjamin is experienced in both sides of the restoration process, reconstruction is where he especially excels. He enjoys the hands-on work involved in repairing and rebuilding affected areas and helping move a property from the restoration phase toward being put back together again.
His broad construction background makes Benjamin a valuable part of projects that require both an understanding of the initial damage and the work necessary to restore the property afterward.
Nick Nesta
Nicholas Nesta brings more than 11 years of experience in the cleaning and restoration industry to the Voda Cleaning & Restoration of Southwest Florida team. His background includes extensive restoration work, along with hands-on experience in carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, tile and grout cleaning, and grout color sealing.
Nick takes pride in quality workmanship and continuing to expand his knowledge of cleaning and restoration techniques so he can provide customers with the best possible service.
Family is at the center of Nick’s life. He and his wife, Sara, have four children, Penelope, Chloe, Arabella, and Niko, along with a rescued American Bully named Shenzi (named after the hyena from The Lion King) and two bearded dragons, Floki and Lagertha. Nick also enjoys gaming, building and modifying anything with a gas-powered engines, playing paintball, and airsoft. He enjoys spending time with his kids and wife the most.
