Open flooring areas could be handled efficiently, while bathrooms, stairways, landings, and other tighter spaces required a more deliberate approach. Fine drywall dust that remains on the flooring can mix with cleaning solution and water during wet cleaning, creating additional residue that then has to be loosened and recovered.
